Alex Otti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance had after the April 11 and 25th governorship election in the state approached the Abia State Governorship election petition tribunal which sat in Umuahia praying the Court to declare him winner of the Polls, since according to him, he scored the highest number of lawful votes cast.

But Justice Usman Bwala led panel faulted Otti ‘ prayers in his petition saying he erred when he asked the Tribunal to Nullify the election and also declare him winner at the same time.

After the Judgement of the Tribunal which saw Ikpeazu’s Victory been upheld, Alex Otti proceeded to the Court of Appeal seeking a declaration that he won the Abia State Governorship election.

A lot of drama played out during the hearing at the Appeal court as it appears the Judges were not ready to compromise.
