Ikpeazu Yet To Get Copies Of Appeal Court Judgement that Sacked Him From Office

Puo can authoritatively report that the Sacked Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is yet to get True Copies Of the Justice Oyebisi Omoleye led five-member panel of Appeal court Justices which ordered him to vacate office as Abia Governor for Dr Alex Otti of APGA.

As at 80:30 Pm yesterday the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State Barrister Charles Esonu was seen by our correspondent trying to beg the officials in the Court to help them with the Judgement.

The governor himself why reacting to the outcome of the Appeal Court verdict admitted that he was yet to see the Judgement.

As of this moment, I have not received the full briefing on the reason for the decision of the Court of Appeal but my Lawyers are still at the Court waiting to obtain a copy of the Judgment for further studying and it is past 7pm. The next 4 days are Public Holidays and the timing of the judgment means that we are losing valuable days to study the judgment and file our Appeal “He said 

Under the 1999 Constitution Okezie Ikpeazu has 14days lifeline to Appeal the Judgement at the Supreme Court, failure to do so automatically makes him a former Governor of Abia State 

With the holidays which spans for four days, Okezie Ikpeazu and his Team of Lawyers has only 10 Days to study the Judgement and Appeal it at the Apex court
