The General Secretary of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria Rev Dr. Godwin Amaowoh has refutted claims in some section of the media that he demanded a return of the car he donated to Assemblies of God Church Nigeria Ikono Area District during his thanksgiving service over his elevation as the General Secretary of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria.
Rev Dr Amaowoh in a chat with Newsmen Tuesday stated that those behind the evil blackmail against his person in the internet are agents of the Kingdom of darkness,hence the need for the members of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria and the entire World to disregard the false reports which may have gained Momentum in the last few days.
He Revealed that he only visited his Home Church which is has been loyal to the General Council of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria led by Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor,stressing that no demand or request was made by him during the visit
Dr Amaowoh wondered why Youths who claimed to be Children of God could be deriving joy in tarnishing the images of their fathers in the Internet.
He adviced those behind the fake and evil blackmail against his person to desist from such because the wrath of God may befall those trying to use the blogosphere to ridicule his servant.
It will be recalled that few days back there had been reports in some quaters that the General Secretary of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria during his visit to his home Church demanded that the car he donated during his thanksgiving service be returned
