Facts has emerged on why The Rivers State governor Barr Nyesom Wike suspended the Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Gokana Local Government Area Mr Fred Kpakol as his Finance Commissioner.

Yesterday evening,the Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Rivers State governor Mr Simeon Nwakaudu disclosed the developements to Journalists but failed to adduce reasons for the Suspension of the Commisisoner of Finance by his Boss.

However Investigations carried out by PUO REPORTS has shown that the Suspended Commissioner of Finance Mr Fred Kpakol and few others who may be Sacked days ahead had concluded plans to defect to the All Progressive Congress had the Supreme Court nullify the April 11th governorship election in Rivers State.

A Government House source who who spoke to this media on strict agreement of anonymity stated that governor Nyesom Wike will in the upcoming days relieve those who betrayed him at the 11th hour of their duties

Oga knew those who betrayed him due to the Judgments of the Rivers State Election petition Tribunal and the Court of Appeal which had in their own wisdom ordered for a fresh election in Rivers State” the source State.

It was gathered that the suspended Commissioner for Finance Mr Fred Kpakol had been on discussion with the Leadership of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers on how he could defect to the Party after the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal nullified the April 11 governorship election in Rivers State

On December 2015,Fred Kpakol almost announced his resignation from the cabinent of Governor Nyesom Wike,but he was asked to be patient and wait for the final verdict which will come from the Supreme Court,thereafter he can defect to the All Progressive Congress.

Fred Kpakol was among those appointed and Sworn in as Commissioner on the 12th of June 2015 barely two weeks Governor Nyesom Wike was inaugurated.

His loyalty was divided immediately the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Lower Tribunal nullifying the election of Governor Nyesom Wike.

Recall also that governor Nhyesom Wike had during his Supreme Court Victory thanksgiving Service last sunday revealed that some of his appointees betrayed him ayt the 11th Hour of his legal travails.

The governor may announce the sack of others in days to come
