Governor of Rivers State Barrister Nyesom Wike has declared that any Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria coming to Rivers State must first of all take permission from him before coming to the state to avoid any security breakdown
“A Minister coming to my State should consult me to avoid security breakdown, but you see some of them coming without letting me know, that’s the dirty politics they play”

Governor Nyesom Wike made this Statement while speaking as a guest on Channels Television Sunrise Daily Tuesday Morning in Abuja
The Governor said the action of some Ministers including the Former Governor of the State and current Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is not acceptable because as the Chief Security officer of Rivers State,he ought to know who is visiting the state from Abuja
The governor also said that he has lost confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, because the commission is too inconsistent, as it works to promote the interest of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State
Governor WIKE said for instance that the Minister of Environment, Hon Mrs Amina Mohammed would just call her party men, fly into Rivers State without him the Chief Security Officer of the state knowing.
so is it wen federal minister want to enter the state u know that there is chief security of the state? when people r been murderd day by day in the state like Ekpeye WERE u married.is a pity.
