Unit Heads,Presbyters,Pastors of Assemblies of God Nigeria in Akwa Ibom state has warned the Suspended,Dismissed and Disfellowshipped former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev Dr Paul Emeka to stay clear of the Area.
The Warning were contained in a Communique issued after their meeting by Rev Emmanuel Udoka of Eket District,Rev Innocent Paul of Uyo District,Rev Pattrick Offiong of Uyo East,Rev S Chrisantus Sampson of Ikot Ekpene,Rev Edet Essien of Ikono Area,Rev Saviour Nyong of Oron District,Rev Essien of Ukanafun Area and Rev Tom of Abak Missionary Area with all their Presbyters
PUO REPORTS Learnt that their resolution to warn Rev Dr Paul Emeka became neccessary following an attempt by some suspected cult members hired by Paul Emeka to cause panic for Assemblies of God in Akwa Ibom State through the clamour for a South South General Council
It was further gathered that a group financed by Rev Dr Paul Emeka had procured a Court Injunction stopping the Eket District Council Meeting which ought to have held on Thursday 19th May 2016
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor and some Officers of the General Council who went with him could not continue with the Eket District Council meeting on Discovery that there was an order of court stopping the meeting.
The Leaders of Assemblies of God in Akwa Ibom State after their meeting apologized to the General Council and assured the General Superintendent that the agitators of the purported South South General will be called to order and all pending Court cases against the Church will be withdrawn.
