INEC Determined To Set Abia On Fire -Abia PDP Says

Democracy only thrives in the rule of law. Absence of rule of law is synonymous with anarchy.

A Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Okon Abang, erroneously ruled last Monday that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu be sacked on a flimsy ground of discrepancy in his tax document, making way for Mr Uche Ogar, who walked out of the PDP Primary election, to be sworn-in as a replacement.
In accordance with legal practice and procedure, Governor Ikpeazu has appealed against that faulty judgement and has also obtained a stay of execution against that nefarious order.
Intelligence has, however, revealed that the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Mr Mahmud Yakubu, has collected billions of Naira from Uche Ogar and is, therefore, hell-bent on issuing a certificate of return to him.

The PDP in Abia State is constrained to warn that this greed and injustice coming from Yakubu are only a prelude to avoidable anarchy and disaster.
