Okorocha Demolishes Captain Iheanacho’s Property Despite Court Order

Less than 24 hours an ex minister of interior cum business magnet, Capt Emmanuel Iheanacho obtained an order from a federal High court, sitting in Owerri, the Imo State capital, restraining the state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and six others from demolishing his house situated in the state capital, the Agents of the state Government have bulldozed it.

Sources told Okeomanews that the Governor specially supervised the demolition of the ex minister’s building fence located at No 6 Orlu Road, Owerri, Thursday.

Capt Iheanacho had filed an experta motion at the federal high court, praying among other things, an order stopping the Governor and six others from demolishing his house whether by themselves or by proxy, pending the determination of the substantive suit , an order the Presiding Judge granted. The matter was adjourned to September 3.

Government sources explained that the demolition became imperative following the efforts of the Governor in beautifying the state capital and dualization of the major roads
