Ohanaeze Ndigbo: “We Don’t Want Ikpeazu To Be Removed As Abia Governor”

Apex Social Cultural Group Ohanaeze Ndigbo have declared that the body is not in support of the failed civilian coup plotted by Chief Emeka Offor and Senator Annie Okonkwo in Abia State.

The Body made their resolution known when they paid a solidarity visit to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu at the Abia State Government House on Friday July 29th 2016.

“Your Excellency, we are not unaware of the political situation in Abia State. Over time, Ohanaeze has refrained from making statements in elections involving two Igbo people. We will not like that anything illegal be done that can create the change of government in Abia State. So Your Excellency, we wish you well. We want to be seeing you more, we also want you to pay attention to what is happening in Ohanaeze.” Chief Gary Enwo-Igrariwey the President of the Body told Governor Okezie Ikpeazu

It will be recalled that on the 27th of June 2016,Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court had delivered a controversial Judgement in favour of the President of Masters Energy Oil and Gas Dr Uche Ogah
