Senator Olaka Wogu,the Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for Rivers South East Senatorial District Rerun is currently battling with severe Stroke,PUO REPORTS can confirm.
Mr Wogu a former Member of the House Of Representatives who represented the people of Eleme/Tai/Oyibo Federal House Of Representatives at the National Assembly between 1999-2011 emerged the winner of the March 28th 2015 Senatorial District Election in Rivers State in a controversial Circumstance.

But his Victory was upturned by a three Member Panel of Appeal Court Justices in dedember 2015 following an Appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressive Congress for Rivers South East Senatorial District Senator Magnus Abe against the earlier Judgement of the Tribunal which had upheld the Victory of Mr Olaka Wogu.
After the botched March 19th 2016 Rerun of the National and State Assembly elections in Rivers State,it was gathered that Mr Wogu started developing strange signs resulting to stroke.
Due to Mr Wogu’s Health Condition,the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party held their Senatorial rally in Bori on the 28th of July 2016 without the presence its candidate for the Rivers South East District RErun.
