One of the renegade PDP members and former Abia House of Assembly member, Emeka Ejiogu, who recently joined Chidi Nwosu to declare allegiance to the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of PDP at Abuja has returned to mainstream PDP led by Senator Ahmed Makarfi.
Ejiogu was sighted at the car park in Abia State Government House Umuahia on Tuesday with other members of immediate past House.
It was not clear what their mission to Government House was, but unconfirmed sources have it that Ejiogu was accompanied by his former colleagues to see the Governor after Ejiogu had met with them (his former colleagues) and explained how Chidi Nwosu tricked him into joining him to Abuja for the visit to sheriff.
Both Ejiogu and Nwosu, who were defeated at the 2015 elections, suddenly constituted themselves into opposition within the PDP family in Abia, but recently declared their allegiance to the Sheriff faction of the PDP.
It will be recalled that Ejiogu during the last PDP local government congresses, led a team of PDP congress committee that conducted the local government congress in Umunneochi.
