A woman identified as Mrs. Apeh on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Okpafie, Okpokwu area of Benue State, overpowered by snatching the knife of a male thief who attacked her.
Daily Post corespondents revealed that Apeh Peterhot, the son of the woman told reporters that a moment of bravery saved his mother from her attacker whose is identified as Timothy Odoh.
“Luckily my mum was brave enough to drag the knife with him before other people came to her rescue”, he said.
As Mrs Apeh took the knife from Odoh, neighbors came around to the scene, stripped him naked and viciously beat him up.
Odoh, after some beatings, was taken to Ugbokolo Divisional Police Styation, Where he will be answering for his crime.
