Justice Umar Yusuf Kargako of the Upper Area Court yesterday Thursday 25th October 2016 stopped the attempt by a Former General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Paul Emeka to Squash his Forgery Trial.

It will be recalled that Paul Emeka had obtained an Ex parte Order dated 28th June 2016 from Justice K.N Ogbonnaya of an FCT High Court in Abuja ordering the Upper Area Court to Stay Proceedings in the Forgery Case.

But on the 30th of August, the Attorney General of the Federation through a Representative Mrs Chareles Okolie appeared to inform the Court that the case has been taken over by the Attorney General.

Sources at the Ministry of Justice told PUO REPORTS Friday that the Ministry is Compiling Fresh Charges against the Ex-Communicated Former General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Paul Emeka.

At Yesterday’s Sitting Paul Emeka’s Lawyer Barr J.U Ajii had prayed the Upper Area Court to stay Proceedings to enable Justice K.N Ogbonnaya of an FCT High Court Trash out the case, but Unfortunately, the Judge Struck out the matter, making it Difficult for the FCT high Court to Preside over the case because it no longer exist.

There are strong Indications that the Attorney General will file Fresh Charges against Paul Emeka any moment from Now
