The Supreme Court of Nigeria will on Friday 24th February 2017 deliver Final Judgement on the Appeal filed by Rev Paul Emeka,a former General Superintendent of the Assemblies Of God Nigeria against the Judgement of the Enugu Division of the Court of Appeal which had upheld his Suspension from the Church.

Rev Paul Emeka was Suspended by the General Commitee of Assemblies Of God Nigeria for violating several sections of the Church Constitution especially the clause prohibiting members from taking the Church to Law Court.

The First Judgement which was by Justice Anthony Onovo of the Federal High Court Enugu was in Rev Paul Emek’s favour, but the Second Judgement by the Court of Appeal was in favour of the Assemblies Of God Nigeria.

Rev Paul Emeka is still occupying the National Headquarters of Assemblies Of God Nigeria even after loosing the case at the Court of Appeal in April 2015.

The Supreme Court Judgement which is the last in the case is expected to put an end to the crises that started over the refusal of Rev Paul Emeka to abide by the decision of the Majority of the Church.

In the main time,Rev Paul Emeka has gone into exil in Ghana even before the Judgement of the Supreme Court
