A New District Superintendent has been Elected at Ikot Ekpene District of the General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor who was the Guest Speaker for the Three Days Revival Programme Theme: “Divine Sanitation 2017 (For Restoration of His Glory) made a Suprise announcement for election of the Presbytery of the Ikot Ekpene District.
It will be recalled that the Executive Commitee had in September 2016 Dissolved the Ikot Ekpene Presbytery headed by Former District Superintendent Rev Chrysantus Sampson.
Rev Godwin Dimkpa was Subsequently appointed Chairman of the District Counseling Commitee.
In the Election Conducted Today June 4 2017 by the General Superintendent Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor,Rev Vincent Usua was Elected the New District Superintendent in a keenly Contested Election.
Rev Emediong Udo was elected as the New Assistant District Superintendent.
