The Crises rocking the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress(APC) over who flags the Partys 2019 Governorship flag has led to the Suspension of Chief Allwell Onyesoh, popularly known as the Civilian General by some members of the party in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The suspension is unconnected with the recent power tussle between various camps in All Progressive Congress.
There is a major crack within the ranks of APC, considering Senator Magnus Abe’s ambition to contest for the position of the Governor of Rivers State. The idea is not going down well with Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, current minister of Transport, who also has his own candidates for the position.
Chief Allwell Onyesoh is working with Senator Magnus Abe for the liberation of Etche people from several years of bondage which was Demostrated during the Senators Birthday on the 24th of May 2017 in Portharcourt.
PUO REPORTS Investigations reveals that Mr Allwell’s Problems with Amaechi’s men in the Rivers APC started after his Paper PLAIN TRUTH NEWSPAPER reported that Rivers State APC Councillors has abandoned their leader Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and now supports Senator Magnus Abe ahead 2019.
Rivers APC had been on the News following reports that the Minister of Transportation Mr Chibuike Amaechi is plotting to solely hand over the Rivers APC Governorship Ticket to Mr Dakuku Pterside who lost to Governor Nyesom Wike in 2015.
