A Source who would not want her name on Press told PUO REPORTS on Saturday that majority of the Former Commissioners worked against the Interest of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu during his Court Travails that ended on May 12 2017.

A Federal High Court in Abuja had on June 2017 removed the Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, on the grounds that he included false information in his tax clearance certificate.
In his place, the court  directed that the first runner-up in the primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah, should be issued the certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and be sworn-in as governor.

Justice Okon Abang held that Ikpeazu was not qualified to contest the primary election of the PDP, which held on December 8, 2014, because he made false declaration in his INEC Form CF001 containing information of his tax certificate and personal income tax payments (P.A.Y.E.).

It was gathered that prior to the Judgement of Justice Okon Abang,Five Commissioners in Ikpeazu’s Cabinet Mobilized their Supporters to receive Uche Ogah at Sam Mbakwe International Airport Owerri,a development which did not go down well with the Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.

The Governor was said to had concluded the Dissolution of his Cabinet immediately after the Appeal Court Judgement which upturned the Verdict of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, but some Inner Kitchen Cabinet Members advised the Governor to wait for the Outcome of the Supreme Court Judgement.

It was further Learnt by PUO REPORTS that the Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu approved for the Dissolution before Traveling outside the Country this week.

The Governor who is now putting his House in Order ahead of the 2019 General Elections may return and lift some his Closer Aides who stood by him throughout the Legal Battles.
