Kelechi Iheanacho could be heading to Southampton, if City agree a swap deal with the Saints for Ryan Betrand.
City will accept offers for the Super Eagles striker and already Everton, Leicester City, West Ham and Southampton are ready to throw Betrand into the deal.
City value their young ace at £25m and new Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino is after a forward for next season.
“Southampton are now part of a long list of clubs that want Kelechi this summer. If the right offer comes in, he will go, and Ryan Bertrand is an option that has been talked about in the past.
“We know Saints are fans of Nacho after his performances against them in the past, he has an amazing record,” said source.
West Ham have been heavily linked with Iheanacho in recent weeks and Starsport understand they are willing to shell out £20m on him. Everton, meanwhile, are closing in on Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez, suggesting it’s unlikely they would go in for Iheanacho as well.
