Abia state Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, wishes to send his condolences to Governor Darius Ishaku and the people of Taraba State on the death of former Governor Danbaba Suntai.
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, Governor Ikpeazu stated that the news of the passage of Suntai at the age of 56 came to him as a rude shock, after years of his battling stoically to survive the unfortunate plane crash of 2012.
“On behalf of myself and the good people of Abia State I wish to express our heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and pray God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
“We also mourn with Governor Darius Ishaku who worked closely for many years with the departed former Governor Suntai. May the Almighty God be with him and the people of the state.”
