A Former Chief Of Staff to Former Governor Chibuike Amaechi has said that the Minister of Transportation Mr Chibuike cannot stop him from Supporting Senator Magnus Abe ,the Senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District despite being removed as a Leader of the APC in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
Chief Tony Okocha stated this when he played host to Members of the Movement for Positive Change which he is a Grand Patron at his Residence Yesterday.
Mr Okocha wondered why how having an ambition translates to being a betrayal which was the parameter used by the Minister of Transportation to remove all those suspecting to be in support of the 2019 Governorship ambition of Senator Magnus Abe as caucus Leaders in their Various LGA’s.
He reiterated the fact that Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi remains his Leader and by extension the leader of Members of the Group, in his words he says”I’m not your friend if you don’t agree that CRA is your Leader “. He further assured MPC that he was not perturbed as to the change in leadership in his LGA. For him there’s no promise land without a wilderness.

He recounted how the Senator took/suffered for the party especially during the last Electioneering period. He recalled how he was saved by Senator Magnus Abe from being gassed by the then former Rivers Commissioner of Police CP MBU and even became a victim. He noted Magnus Abe to be one leader who always left Abuja to Port Harcourt to ensure everything was on course.
