Europa League group stage: Pots, seedings confirmed for Friday’s draw

The draw pots for this season’s Europa League group stage draw have been confirmed, after the completion of the final qualifying round ties on Thursday.

The 48 teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four.

Teams from the same national association cannot be drawn together, nor can teams from Russia and Ukraine.

All draw pots are decided by UEFA coefficient, which considers European performance over a five-year period.

Arsenal are the top-ranked team in the competition, followed by Zenit, Lyon and Dynamo Kiev. AC Milan are also seeded, along with Ajax, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao and Lazio.

The draw ceremony will start around midday on Friday.

Pot 1: Arsenal, Zenit St. Petersburg, Lyon, Dynamo Kiev, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Lazio, AC Milan, Viktoria Plzen, FC Salzburg, FC Copenhagen, Braga

Pot 2: Steaua Bucharest, Ludogorets Razgrad, BATE Borisov, Everton, Young Boys, Marseille, Real Sociedad, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Lokomotiv Moscow, Austria Vienna, Hertha Berlin, Nice

Pot 3: Astana, Partizan Belgrade, Hoffenheim, Cologne, NK Rijeka, Vitoria Guimaraes, Atalanta, Zulte Waregem, Zorya Luhansk, Rosenborg, Sheriff Tiraspol, Hapoel Beer-Sheva

Pot 4: Apollon Limassol, Istanbul Basaksehir, Konyaspor, Vitesse Arnhem, Slavia Prague, Red Star Belgrade, Skenderbeu, FC Zlin, AEK Athens, FC Lugano, Vardar Skopje, Ostersunds
