The General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria today Tuesday 5th September 2017 Inaugurated the Newly created AG CARE COMPSSION Ministries National Board at Evangel House, National Headuaters of Assemblies Of God Nigeria in Enugu.
Inaugurating the Board,General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Chidi Okoroafor(Phd) charged the Board Members to see their appointments as a call to serve for the well-being of the AG CARE Compassion Ministries
The General Superintendent reminded the Board that AG CARE COMPASSION Ministeries is the Social Humanitarian Mandate of the Church after MISSIONS which is the Great Commission of the Church,charging the board to ensure that EVAMI Special School for the less Privileged owned by Assemblies Of God Nigeria resumed academic activities without delay.
He said the Leadership of Assemblies Of God Nigeria brought experienced people who are exposed in the World and Ministry as Members of the Board.
“This is a department that should generate Fund,Money Response to Project,this department can attract fund Nationally and Internationally and mange it”
“Help to attract Local and Foreign connection for this Department”
Responding on behalf of the Board,its Chairman Rev Dr Emmanuel Nshii the Abakiliki District Superintendent and a Member of the Executive Commite Representing South East Zone 4,thanked the Leadership of the Church for finding them worthy as members of the Board,he said the Board will not disappoint the Executive Committee for the trust reposed in them.
It will be recalled that the Executive Commitee of Assemblies Of God Nigeria sitting between 5th and 6th June 2017,approved the re-constitution of the National Board for AG CARE Compassion Miniseries .
