Abia State has been described as an investment haven in the south east following the developmental strides of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD and the promotion of Made in Aba products which have placed ABIA state on the international spotlight positively since the inception of this administration. The Commissioner for Information Hon John Okiyi Kalu stated this while receiving in audience the Management team of CHECKBEST NIGERIA LTD,a Private Investment Company developing the ETCHE ROAD Shopping Mall in Aba led by the MD/CEO Mr Chidozie Njoku who were in his office to intimate him on their investment mission to Abia State.
While speaking the Commissioner, charged the company to deliver the project on time as Abians are tired of Investors who come to get commitment from the State and after signing MOUs they will disappear from the project site and the State entirely.
The Commissioner also Assured them of the Governments support by providing enabling environment, security and road infrastructure that will ease movement of customers from neighboring states to the Shopping Mall.
Mr Chidozie Njoku pledged on behalf of the Company to deliver the project on time. He stated that they will be moving into site on Friday the 25th of this month to start actual construction work. And also stated that the required fund had been mobilized and that by second quarter of 2018 those that have subscribed for shop will be able to move into their shops as the project will be delivered by July 2018 specifically.
