According to Vanguard Newspaper,A notorious kidnapper allegedly behind brutal murder of about 23 persons in Omoku, Rivers state in the early hours of January 1st this year has been shot dead in a combined operation by the DSS and the Army at a border town between Rivers and Enugu state.
A top security source confirmed development.

But the notorious kidnapper was lucky to have escaped again by the whiskers having been informed by some Security men on his payroll, of the operation.
Our source confirmed that he was later found in Enugu where he was gunned down by the Army and some men of the DSS.
At press time, the corpse of the late Wani was on its way to Port Harcourt.
