Four FUTO students make drone for final year project, and it is working

There may be tons of challenges, but Nigeria has a lot of talented people who are relentless in putting the talents to good use.

That is exactly the case of Ekeh Isidore, Kizito Onyema, Aloysius Nwokedike and John Kenedy Kalu, all final year students of an engineering department in Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), who recently constructed a quadcopter surveillance drone for their university as a school project.

Here are photos of the drone with a wood constructed Controller and First Person View (FPV) system; the drone pilot sees the video footage of the campus in real time.
