The Spokesman of Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Mr Ikenga Ugochinyere has called on INEC to release the number of persons who collected their permanent voters cards in the polling stations where supplementary elections would hold in Osun State on Thursday.

He said available data indicate that only 1500 registered voters have collected their permanent voters cards (pvc) in the polling stations.

Speaking on AIT’s Kaakaki programme on Monday, Ugochinyere said that the entire exerice must be transparent.

Even though he urged the PDP to explore the legal option of suing INEC, he said the party should conclude the process by winning on Thursday.

INEC while declaring the election inconclusive, said supplementary elections would hold as follows:
Orolu – 2 Units
Ife South – 1 Unit
Ife North – 1 Unit
Osogbo – 1 Unit

There was a 353 votes difference and with 3,498 registered voters in the cancelled units, INEC said that supplementary elections would decide the polls.
