Police uncovers bodies of Abia pastor, two church members

Police operatives attached to the Criminal Investigation department in Abia State Police command has found the decomposing body of one pastor Blessed Kelechi in his residence at Umuobia housing estate, Olokoro, suburb of Umuahia the state capital.

The deceased was the pastor of a new generation church known as the Winds of Glory Church locate at Ohokobe village in Umuahia.

Also found in his residence were the decomposing bodies of his Assistance pastor Ambassador Kalu Ikeagwu and one Ruth Andrew said to be the Church’s women leader

The Deputy Commissioner of Police incharge of the State CID, Patrick Edung who led the police operatives to the the scene to evacuate the bodies, said the police has commenced investigation in the matter.

He added that some relatives of the deceased had reported the incident to the Police, before they arrived the scene to evacuate the bodies.

Residents of the estate were thrown into confusion when the decomposed bodies were been taken away.

Some of the relatives and church members of deceased at the scene said the suspected murderers must have carried out the act last Sunday morning as the two pastors were not in church last Sunday.

They added that they discovered that the deceased were on Friday evening when they visited pastor Kelechi’s house house and saw dead bodies.

The decomposed bodies have been deposited in a mutuary .
