The name of the either Hope Uzodinma or Uche Nwosu were missing on Friday, November 9, as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the list of the governorship candidates for the 2019 general election.

Vanguard reports that INEC released 67 names including that of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Ihedioha, in the state.

Nwosu, son-in-law to the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, and Senator Uzodinma have been laying claims to the candidacy.
