The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has threatened war against All Progressives Congress (APC) and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) if they both rigged the forthcoming elections.

National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, who handed down the threats in Asaba, Delta State, on Thursday at the party’s campaign ahead of the 2019 elections, disclosed that the party, PDP
was ready for war with All progressive Congress ( APC) if the elections were found to have been rigged.

He said:” We have warned INEC not to be allowed to be used by the present president Muhammadu Buhari led administration to rig the 2019 elections, We are aware that the present government has been pressurizing INEC to help rig the elections, if they do, there will be war, Nigerians will rise up to the challenges.

“We need a digital president, not analogue president, this present government has been trying to bring in its own Chief Judge, It’s not possible, President Buhari had given his Mandate to Chief Great Ogboru when he campaigned in Warri recently.

“We need Atiku Abubakar, the only president when elected that will change the difficulties in Nigeria.”

But the former Vice president, and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party ( PDP) Alhaji Abubakar Atiku in his remarks, however assured Deltans of reactivating the abandoned Sea Ports: Koko , Sapele,Warri and Ofagbe , Saying that Since 1999 Delta State had been govern by PDP, a clear indications that Deltans have been loyal members of the party.

While describing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as one of the best governors Nigeria had produced, Atiku also promised that when voted as president, the second Niger Bridge allegedly being politicized be president Buhari, will be completed, adding that “APC has failed completely in all Its promises, these so called APC people are wayoo people.

“I want you all in Delta State to vote PDP, don’t waste your votes for APC, people in the party have nothing to offer, Okowa is a working governor because there visible infrastructural projects executed in the state, therefore, Deltans should vote PDP all the way, all the abandoned Seaports in this State will be completed by my administration when voted into office.”

In his opening remarks, the state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, said” In the last three years and seven months, we have been building bridges in the state.
“We are peace loving people and we have empowered youths in search of jobs, we have resolved here in Delta to vote PDP that will bring peace to our great country Nigeria, we are prepared for the elections and we are prepared to vote PDP all the way.”

Speaking also, The Senate president,Dr Bukola Saraki lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for providing numerous infrastructural projects that were executed for the people of Delta State, and urged Deltans to vote PDP instead of wasting their votes for the dead ruling All progressive Congress ( APC).

He said” the administration of Atiku Abubakar will provide platform for employment for the Youths by empowerment and making sure that the Youths are meaningfully engaged in glaring ventures,” adding that APC promises were never fulfilled rather it embarked on frivolous criticisms.

Mr Peter Obi, the PDP Vice presidential candidate in his contributions, Urged Deltans not to be distracted by fake promises adding that Atiku Abubakar will provide all the needed to turn around things for the country.
