The dismissal of the vexatious and mischievous age declaration suit against the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike by an aide to the desperate Minister of Transportation is a confirmation that Governor Wike is amply qualified to continue to lead Rivers State to the days of glory between 2019 and 2023.

The Director of Information and Communications of the State PDP Campaign Council Barr Emma Okah stated this today in a press statement issued in Port Harcourt.

By dismissing the suit filed by Factional Leadership of Rivers State APC against the eligibility of Governor Wike to seek a second term, Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo re-affirmed that the Minister of Transportation and his associates are on a wild goose chase. An unnecessary journey to overheat Rivers polity.

The judgment by the Federal High Court in Abuja is a divine reminder to the Minister of Transportation and his associates that Governor Wike has been ordained by God and cannot be pulled down by the devilish machinations of crooked political opponents.

This is the time for Amaechi to retrace his steps, make restitution and join Governor Wike to develop the state.

The Rivers State PDP acknowledges the state-wide celebrations that greeted the judgment. It assures Rivers people that the Wike Administration will remain focused in the delivery of pro-people projects and programmes.

The Rivers State PDP urged the people to troop out to vote tomorrow, the candidates of their choice and called on security agencies to allow peace and tranquility to reign. It declared that the judgment is signpost on what is expected of all Rivers people.
