A young man in his thirties from Oluasiri town in Nembe, Bayelsa State has reportedly shot his girlfriend to death.
A Facebook user, Igbogi, who reported the incident on his Facebook Wall said, the suspect claimed his victim who is his girlfriend was cheating on him.
According to him, the young man pointed a gun at his victim while interrogating her on her relationship with a man she was sighted with when the gun went off on her, destroying her face.
The ugly incident which happened around 11pm last night threw the entire Oluasiri town into mourning.
The report said, the suspect is already handed over to the Nembe unit of men of the Nigerian Police Force for prosecution.
