President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the Senate to seek legislative approval for another tenure for CBN governor Godwin Emefiele.
The President has reappointed Godwin Emefiele as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria whose tenure empires on June 2, 2019.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, read the letter on the floor shortly before adjourning the day’s plenary.
