The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has described education as the best industry for life.
Speaking on Tuesday in Umuahia during the 1st Induction Ceremony of Think Big Institute Isiama Afaraukwu, an affiliate of Gregory University Uturu, the Speaker said investing in education remains the best industry one can ever think of.
The Speaker congratulated the founder of the Institute, Prof. Gabriel Okenwa for his passion for education which necessitated the establishment of the Institute in Umuahia.
“What you have done here is an industry that not only Afaraukwu will cherish but Ibeku and the entire Abia State. I will encourage our brother to take the issue of quality and standard very very important, it doesn’t matter how many years it may take, but your structure must be of standard.” He further urged that “It is my advice to you to take the issue of standard very very seriously” He equally assured that “We would make sure that evey investment you make here is safe.”
The Speaker urged the Founder, Professor Gabriel Okenwa to always live up to the terms the institute reached with Gregory University and appreciated the Founder of Gregory University for founding ThinK Big lnstitute worthy for affiliation.
Rt. Hon Chinedum Orji joined the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem for the ground breaking of the permanent site of the Institute.
The Speaker was accompanied by the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu, the lawmaker representing Umuahia South State Constituency Hon. Barr Jerry Uzosike, the lawmaker representing Ikwuano State Constituency Hon Stanley Nwabuisi among others.
