Professor Owunari Georgewill has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt.
Currently a Professor of Pharmacology through promotions from Lecturer 11 to Lecturer 1 to Senior Lecturer and to Professor, has over fifty publications local and foriegn, menber of editorial board of the asian pacific journal of tropical medicine, member of several professional bodies.
He is married with 4 children, holds the degrees, B. Med. Sc in pharmacology second class upper, MBBS, MSc in Pharmacology, Doctorate in Medicine-Pharmacology.
Prof. Owunari has been Head of Department, Dean of Faculty of Basic medical sciences.
