Liverpool advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League courtesy of a 2-0 win over RB Leipzig this evening, securing a 4-0 aggregate triumph. Goals in the second half from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were enough for the Reds to overcome the German outfit, who were underwhelming for the majority of the contest. Alexander Sorloth had Leipzig’s best effort when he struck the bar, but other than that Julian Nagelsmann and his team had a game to forget.
