BREAKING: JUSUN Ends Nationwide Strike

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, has suspended its nationwide strike, effective from Monday.

JUSUN took the decision at its National Executive Council, NEC, meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.

The National Judicial Council, NJC, had at a meeting with JUSUN leaders on Tuesday, with the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Tanko Muhammad in attendance,

Deputy President of JUSUN, Emmanuel Abisoye, who spoke with ThisDay shortly after the meeting said that the union was prevailed upon by the leadership of the National Judicial Council, NJC, to suspend the strike.

According to him, communiqué of the meeting will be put together to formally declare the strike action ended.
