Scores have been reportedly killed in a fuel tanker explosion at the Amoke village of Apa Local Government Area in Benue State.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Monday morning when the vehicle conveying petroleum product went into flame in the area.

An eyewitness, Godfrey Idede who spoke with newmen said the number of deaths could not be ascertained at that moment.
