Manchester City are scheduled to be in action against Brentford on Wednesday on the road in their next Premier League contest. Leicester are next in action against Liverpool on Tuesday at the King Power Stadium.

Manchester City record an emphatic win over Leicester City to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League, although the Foxes gave the hosts an almighty scare in the second half at the Etihad Stadium. City were rampant in the opening 45 minutes as efforts from Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling put them four goals to the good.

However, strikes from James Maddison, Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho brought the visitors within one goal of Pep Guardiola’s men. Aymeric Laporte notched a crucial fifth to take the game away from Leicester before Sterling scored his second to secure three points three minutes from time.
