—-Otti in America to compile Commissioners List–
Barely two months to the Inauguration of the new Abia State Government, lawyers who supported the new Governor elect Dr Alex Otti are in a fierce battle over who becomes to Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice of the new government in June.
PUO reports gathered that the new Governor elect Dr Alex Otti is currently at the United States of America where he is compiling list of those to be unveiled in his Government on assumption of office.
A member of the Labour Party who spoke to our correspondent on Thursday confirmed the development and said the court orders flying up and down against the Abia State Government, were all as a result of the professionals rigmarole by lawyers who are jostling to be appointed as Commissioner for Justice by Dr Alex Otti.
“A Senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Abia North Senatorial District and a lawyer from Ikwuano are topping the list of lawyers being pencilled down for the job” the source said.
While declining to mention names of the lawyers, our source confirmed that they are awaiting the final decision of the Governor elect which he will take before returning back to Nigeria.
Some of the lawyers were said to have been looking for any loophole to prove to the Governor elect about the capacity to handle the Abia State Ministry of Justice.
