Information reaching us from the Abia State Ministry of Finance says Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti is planning to pay only JUNE salary to Abia Civil servants while skipping April and May 2023.
You will recall that we had last week reported that the Governor was planning to skip April Salaries and pay May 2023, however the recent development is that the Governor has concluded plans to skip both April and May 2023 and pay only JUNE Salaries to Abia Civil servants despite receiving the May Allocation.
The Governor, it was learnt will now include both April and May salaries as “arrears”
