Facts have emerged that the newly appointed acting Head of Service in Abia State Mrs Joy Maduka has a lot of petitions written against her for allegedly enriching herself as a staff of the Ministry of Lands Abia State.
Governor Alex Otti this evening appointed Mr Joy Maduka, a Director as an acting Head of Service in Abia State without recourse to the Abia State Civil service rule.
Investigations by PUO reports revealed that Mrs Joy Maduka who was a staff of the Ministry of Lands, was in 2018 redeployed to the Ministry of Science and Technology due to several petitions written against her over her activities.
She was further redeployed to the Abia State Ministry of Education in 2022 and made a Director same year.
Her appointment has raised mixed reactions over the integrity of those being appointed by Governor Alex Otti since assumption of office.
Two senior Permanent Secretaries were boycotted to appoint her as acting Head of Service.
