Brighton are now demanding £100 million for Moises Caicedo after seeing a similar fee agreed between Arsenal and West Ham for Declan Rice, the UK Telegraph reports.

Caicedo has emerged as Chelsea’s top target this summer, as Mauricio Pochettino begins to shape up his squad ahead of the new season.

In January, Caicedo was also a target of Arsenal but they eventually went for Rice.

The Rice transfer saga finally came to a close, with the Gunners agreeing to pay £105 million upfront with only £5 million coming in add-ons.

Brighton view Caicedo as being in the same bracket as the England midfielder and also point to the fact that he is three years younger.

The Seagulls will only be willing to let the Ecuadorian midfielder leave if they receive a similar fee.
