In order to finance the purchase of Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, Chelsea will have to let some members of their first team depart Stamford Bridge next summer.

The Blues could potentially violate the Financial Fair Play Regulations if they sign Osimhen and the other targets and are unable to offload some of their stars, according to Footballinsider via Caughtoffside.

Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández’s record-breaking additions have the Blues dangerously close to breaking the law.

Osimhen has a release clause worth over €130 million, according to a recent announcement from Napoli, so Chelsea will need to move quickly to capture their long-term goals.

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain will provide Mauricio Pochettino’s team with fierce competition if they want to sign the Nigerian international and play in the Premier League.

The 2023 CAF African Player of the Year is Chelsea’s top objective because they are in desperate need of a striker.

Since joining the Serie A winners, the former Lille striker has scored 72 goals in 123 games in all competitions.
