Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobisky, is a controversial cross-dresser who entered a guilty plea on Friday to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) accusation that he had abused Naira.
Nevertheless, the two-count charge of money laundering N180.7 million through his company, Bob Express, that had been previously brought against him was withdrawn by the EFCC through its attorney, Suleiman Suleiman.
However, the anti-graft agency’s counsel withheld the decision’s rationale.
After the defendant entered a plea, Justice Awogboro found him guilty on all four counts of spraying N490,000 to tamper with the money.
Ten armed EFCC agents surrounded Bobrisky, who had a black robe on and a black veil covering his head, preventing reporters from snapping his photo.
