‘He Who Seeks Equity Must Do Equity’ – Joseph Story.

His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti is the Executive Governor of Abia State and the head of the Executive Arm of Government. Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa is the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and the head of the Legislative Arm of Government and Justice Lilian Abai is the Chief Judge of Abia State and the head of the Judicial Arm of Government. Chief John Okiyi Kalu is a trained Biochemist. No wonder why he is mixing up the functions and roles of the three (3) independent arms of Government. I would recommend an enrolment into a short Political Science course to Nnam-Uku JOK to be schooled on the Doctrine of Separation of Powers and the inherent Checks and Balances between the Three (3) Arms of Government in Political Science 101 (Introduction to Political Science).

As admitted by JOK, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa had scheduled the inauguration of Hon. Aaron Uzodike for 18th of December, 2023 in respect of the Certificate of Return issued to him by INEC before he received a Court Summons instituted by Hon. Destiny Nwagwu challenging the inauguration of Hon. Aaron Uzodike. The Speaker on the advise of his lawyers suspended the scheduled inauguration pending the outcome of the litigation instituted against him and Abia House of Assembly by the badly wounded Hon. Destiny Nwagwu whose mandate was Judicially reallocated against all known laws and precedence.

Hon. Aaron Uzodike is a beneficiary of a the Judgement of the Court of Appeal described as miscarriage of justice and judicial rascality by the Supreme Court of Nigeria (The highest Court of the Land) who set aside similar erroneous judgements in the Governorship appeals. Hon. Destiny Nwagwu explored the lacuna in the judgement of the Court of Appeal which only directed INEC to issue Certificate of Return to Hon. Aaron Uzodike without any pronouncement on his inauguration by the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly.

Chief John Okiyi Kalu is deliberately refusing to tell his audience that Hon. Aaron Uzodike has gone back to the Court of Appeal seeking a bench warrant against the Speaker and Clerk of Abia State House of Assembly for disobedience of the order of the Court. The case was dismissed for lack of merit as he was unable to produce an order of the court directing the Speaker and Clerk to inaugurate him. I completely agree with the 1963 quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr. that, ‘Injustice anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere’. What is JUST about the sacking of Hon. Destiny Nwagwu who was overwhelming elected by the good people of Aba North State Constituency? Why would the Court of Appeal give a Judgement in total disregard to extant laws, the electoral act, case laws and Supreme Court Legal Opinions and Rulings? Since the Courts are always right, why is Nnam-Uku JOK questioning the order of a State High Court stopping the Speaker and Clerk from inaugurating Hon. Aaron Uzodike? It is hypocritical and selective outrage to cry wolf when what goes around comes around.

There is a thin line between terrorism and freedom fighting. Just less than one year ago, Nnam-Uku JOK was singing praises of his Boss, former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for being a team player and having a harmonious working relationship with the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly without slave and slave master classification. Today, Governor Alex Otti is an Emperor for the good working relationship between him and the Speaker of Abia House of Assembly with slave and slave master designation by the same Apostle of Team playing. During the first tenure of former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Hon. Sir Abraham Oba of APGA then was suspended and removed as the minority leader of the House for questioning the ‘inappropriate’ Loan application of the Government. Nnam-Uku JOK tagged it an Internal Legislative decision without any iota of interference by the ‘Lackey’ and ‘Protege’ former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu but under Governor Alex Otti, anything that happens in the State House of Assembly is the dictate of the ‘Emperor’ in Government House. The bitterness and desperation associated with Post Election Lost Disorder; a rare medical condition with inconsistency and contradiction as symptom is obviously manifest and public knowledge without diagnosis.

It is only Post Election Lost Disorder that can cause a mammal to classify payment of Ten (10) Months arrears of pension as cancer and Eight (8) years non-payment of pension as malaria. What disorder cannot do does not exist.

The guilty are afraid. Nnam-Uku JOK justified the intimidation, arrest and incarceration of opposition voices during their time in Government as; ‘Don’t mess with us strategy’. The Government which JOK served had time to even withdraw a certificate already issued to a student by the State owned University for being critical of the Government. The victim is currently studying outside the country. The Government harassed, intimidated, arrested and detained my good friend Chief Bar. Emperor Ogbonna on trumped up charges to silence him. They went after my friend and classmate Hon. Ginger Onwusible (Onwa Ntigha) for decamping to the opposition Labour Party and exposing the ills of the Government.

Finally, at what point did the dethronement of a traditional ruler transformed a Governor to an Emperor? In 2012, Governor T. A. Orji dethroned the traditional ruler of Agbaja Nkporo Autonomous Community HRH. Eze Agwu Nwankwo Kalu. The Government also dethroned 2 other traditional rulers, HRH. Eze Engr. Daniel Gbufor and HRH. Eze Nelson Nmerengwa. The Ex-Governor was never renamed an Emperor by Nnam-Uku JOK who calls him a father figure. He was rather elevated to Papa Ukwu. Where are the Doctors? What is the right prescription for Post Election Lost Disorder? This is a huge business window for the pharmaceutical industries.
