The accused mastermind behind the deaths of the passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train has been taken into custody by police.

The event took place in March of 2022.

The brains behind it were identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, a.k.a. Mandi, for short.

This was announced on Thursday by ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Kaduna police public relations officer.

He told the reporters that the suspect was also involved in the 2021 abduction of Greenfield University students.

48 AK-47 rifles were reportedly found after Mandi’s arrest, according to the police, and they are currently looking for his sponsor and weapon supplier.
