Chief Ebisike Chioma Ifeanyichukwu, a Chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the former member representing Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency has resigned from the PDP. Hon. Ebisike has joined the Labour Party.

In a letter dated 23rd May 2024 addressed to the Chairman of PDP Osusu 1, Ward 3 and obtained by benudechukwu.com, the Aba North born politician, in a style not very typical of those who had defected in recent time, listed well over 40 (forty) projects he initiated and or attracted during his short stint at the House of Representatives. Hon. Ebisike was elected to fill the vacant seat of the Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency upon the demise of Hon. OSSY PRESTIGE in February 2021.

Pundits believe and correctly too that Chimaobi appears to have recorded unprecedented successes for the short period of two years he spent at the National Assembly.

Citing his reasons for dumping the PDP and joining LP, the one term Rep said, “I have carefully observed the administration of His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti , particularly his willingness to do things that are of direct benefit to the masses”. Hon . Ebisike further noted that “Dr. Otti has the same vision I have for the people of Aba North and Aba South”.
