Mudashiru Obasa, the embattled former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, stormed the assembly on Monday.
Obasa attended a discussion outside the Assembly chamber with a few members.
The meeting was attended by the assembly’s current speaker, Mojisola Meranda.
After that, the gathering divided into two groups of ten or more lawmakers each.
Remember how the problem began in January when MPs impeached Obasa while he was abroad in the US?
When he returned, Obasa said that his deportation was unlawful since due process was never followed.
But last week, Obasa broke into the Speaker’s office with force after storming the assembly.
Declaring that he was never ousted as Speaker, he also presided over the plenary.
