In a heartfelt show of admiration and community service, the Founder of the Kelvin Jombo Foundation, Chief Kelvin Jombo, has announced a special street feeding initiative scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2025, in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State. The initiative is in celebration of the birthday of Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The exercise will see hundreds, if not thousands, of free meals shared in Umuahia Capital city, targeting the less privileged, street hawkers, artisans, and passersby. According to Chief Jombo, the gesture is a symbolic way of honouring Rt. Hon. Kalu, whom he described as a “true patriot, a shining light from Abia, and a man of the people.”
