Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has dismissed the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Julie C. Onyeukwu.
The development was contained in a press statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
According to the statement, the governor approved Onyeukwu’s suspension with immediate effect.
She has been directed to hand over all government property in her possession to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior official in the commission.
The statement did not disclose the reason for her suspension.
